Based on everything I've read, it seems obvious that 1. Schools with outbreaks in hot spots need to be closed, 2. Essential workers who don't have paid sick leave need vaccines now, 3. Neighbourhoods with high cases need mass vaccination sites, 4. Those who can stay home do so.

I visited two Toronto hospitals this week and it was the same practice. I had to throw my new KN95 in the garbage and wear far inferior PPE given to me by screeners at the front entrance. When I asked why I couldn't wear my safer mask, I was told to ensure safety. Huh????
I present to you, the latest excuse for purposely forcing individuals to wear inferior PPE:
“It may be easier for public health to complete contact tracing” if you’re all wearing the same baggy blue, level 1 droplet masks we provide.

The Ontario Ministry of Education's avg class size requirements for school boards HAVE NOT CHANGED and we're in a pandemic. That's 26 up to 32 kids in a JK/SK class, 20-23 kids in Gr. 1-3 and avg 24.5 for Gr.4-8. Someone explain this to me!

The system would collapse. A teacher's pay surely does not commensurate with actual work that is put in day in and day out. Most teachers are not in the field for the money but rather because they care about children and their futures. Period.
