This Canadian enthusiastically supports removal of preferential tax status for religious organizations. If these groups produce meaningful value for society, they can meet the same standard for charitable status as every other Canadian charity.
Canadians are disturbed that the Liberal government is entertaining stripping charitable status away from houses of worship. I submitted a petition in the House of Commons on behalf of those demanding the Liberals protect religious freedom and freedom of expression.
