Language lessons for footballers typically start with - you guessed it - football vocabulary. Here’s an example from the language lessons at Wolves for a beginner (think Trent has bypassed this stage).

On the back of TAA speaking Spanish so well… the value of footballers learning the language in the country where they play. (Actually, forget footballers; just learn another language full stop, kids - it’s a life skill… & bloody hard to pick up at 49 😣).
