Notoriously unfair to viruses, bacteria, fungi, anti-vaxxers, and the Toronto Star. Roasting marshmallows over Elon’s trash-fire, but with declining frequency.

4. Aggregation of covid together with other respiratory pathogens in surveillance data. This last one makes no sense given the distinct epidemiologies of different viruses…only makes sense if you want stuff to become invisible.

I’m not sure how aware folks are of changes to covid surveillance over the last few months that really look like a coordinated effort to make covid disappear by making surveillance disappear These include:

Non-transparency of health data (created on the public dime) is not a new problem in Canada. But it continues to negatively affect the health of Canadians. It needs to change. Aggregate numbers are not personal health information. https://t.co/cBnVOf04bh

A head-in-the-sand approach will raise the transmission of diseases, increase infections and further erode the Public Health Agency of Canada’s ability to safeguard the health of Canadians.

@picardonhealth @DrGorfinkel @DFisman @TorontoStar @UofT_Pandemics Excellent article. Reminds me of this section from the report of the SARS Commission. Twenty years later and they're still playing the same games. https://t.co/05zuJ36iYr

Just updated our preprint assessing the 2022 study that claimed medical masks to be noninferior to N95s for COVID. In addition to issues identified previously, a closer examination of the data revealed unexpected patterns unlikely to occur in nature: https://t.co/vgvcI7aqlR

I’m sure there’s no official ranking (yet) but “I talked to our FOIA person and she told me how to evade FOI” has to be the greatest line ever to appear in a FOIA’d email. @GWR @BiosafetyNow
