According to our Chief Medical Officer of Health, the next few days are critical as families return home to Canada. I can’t stress this enough: please stay home and practice social distancing. Our success as a province in containing #COVID19 depends on all of us doing our part.

Extremely disappointed to see our hospitals & staff being the target of protests after all of their sacrifice during the pandemic. Peaceful protest is a right, but patients & our health care heroes do not deserve to be intimidated or obstructed from accessing or delivering care.

Ontarians will be seeing a lot more of this simple but critically-important message: stop the spread of #COVID19 by staying home and avoiding contact with others. We all need to do our part to #FlattenTheCurve .

As Dr. Moore said, thanks to the many Ontarians who got their #COVID19 vaccine, growing case counts will not mean the same thing as before. Hospitalizations and ICU admissions will be especially critical in monitoring Ontario's COVID-19 response.

While you might not think that you would be susceptible to #COVID19 , you are. No one is immune. All Ontarians, young and old, have a role in containing the spread so that we can protect our most vulnerable. Let’s all continue to look out for one another.
