I thought that. I had never seen him before and in the first frame, I thought, what an intense, handsome, charismatic character burning to answer this question. Then, it changed.

Dan, you come across as so genuinely caring and someone with so much integrity. (I loved the way you held his hand and put your arm around him. I felt like he was someone who needed that contact so much) 🙏🏼🎄👍🏽

Is there anything we can do or eat or take (or avoid eating or taking or doing!) which ‘helps’ our killer T cells? (I don’t know the right question to ask, but to make more of them or make them stronger or create an environment which lets them flourish, for example!)
Wow.

You’re all making fun of the lad. Most would have gone down after that knee. He’s standing straight after that pasting. Ye, he’s clearly near tears but he’s standing with his head up. He’s got eye contact. I say good on him. He’s got spirit. He looks a good/nice kid. 👌🏽
It didn’t take a village but it took a family (with us & departed), a wonderful employer (Reach), a grafting husband who arrived in UK in only the shirt on his back, an ethical landlord of 16 years, and faith in God, to enable us to buy our home in Tunbridge Wells on Friday! 🥳🙏

This is shambolic. BBC presenters getting defamed left, right & centre. I’ve seen one (innocent) presenter’s pic with word “nonce” across it. People will speculate. I don’t know (legal) solution for BBC, but this is a sick (and unfair) party game of ‘last one to deny is it’.
I called 999 today on a shocking racist incident in Tunbridge Wells. Better not say more in case I am a witness etc, as I have offered to be. When you actually see it in front of you, and so blatant and aggressive, you can't believe it's happening.
A friend in last stage of lung cancer just told me “the MacMillan Nurse has been to see me, she held my hand the whole time she was talking to me”. He’s not one to show much emotion but I could tell how much that meant to him. ❣ We’re all so lucky to have you

Monson News! Pic by colleague Nikki Brotherwood. I popped in later for magazines & all customers said they'd seen it online. Thank you to all of you & AXA PPP healthcare and BBC South East for sending emails to staff. Please keep 'customering' & booking at La Follia next door!

This beautiful contractor walked down to a lady at the barrier to see what she wanted, took her Poppy Cross and put it exactly where she wanted it in front of Tunbridge Wells War Memorial. Lest We Forget.

Sorry to the tiny number of people I’ve blocked. I’m tired of the peddling of (demonstrably) inaccurate posts about me. If I worked in an office with colleagues, I could just laugh about it & they could tell me “just ignore them!” But working from home I can’t and it gets to me.
Just interviewed a mother who has been shielding with her family since February because her little boy has had THREE open heart surgeries. THIS is why the Courier should be reporting concerns about public health and social distancing in Tunbridge Wells.

She said, I'm always paranoid etc, so just wanted to be nice and fresh etc "put me best undies on". Thought nothing more. Took off knickers at bed time. There was glitter in the middle bit of her knickers. Turns out her kids had tipped a tube of glitter in her drawer. 😂😂
Anyone been hit on the head by an acorn plummeting from a tree? I spoke to a very refined older lady on Tunbridge Wells Common on Friday morning and she said she'd had an "awful bump" from one. *This is Mary Harris, reporting live from the mean streets of Tunbridge Wells* 🕵️
My idea for Market Square. (seen it in Spain in historic square) Under archways have pop-up food stands from local restaurants. In middle, chairs & tables, umbrellas, hang with pretty lights. Get your food/drink from the stands, enjoy summer evening.

Right. Please bear with me and read this very short thread. I've never been so serious about something on Twitter. A vicar in a small town in USA addressed the congregation. One of those sitting on the pew was a man who owned a coffee shop. His business had hit tough times. He...
Right, I am going to the Revoke Article 50 march - and much like when one buys a Lottery ticket for the one and only time in their life and just ‘know’ they’ll win - because I am going, I know this means we WILL stay in Europe. 🥴

All I could think was “Is he just gonna leave that pool of Bacardi & coke and shattered glass on the B&B’s floor?!” (I don’t CARE about the five shattered vertebrae 😂)
My finest moment in journalism? Being accidentally copied in to a ‘reply all’ email after I’d been asked to submit a piece to a local newsletter about a community group. It was sent to the newsletter’s editor, saying: “Here’s Mary’s piece. I’ve rewritten it so it makes sense.”

I learned something. Rigged to me always meant ‘fixed’ - like “a boxing match was rigged” - meaning the outcome was agreed before the fight.

Is it my imagination, or did the homeowner put his left hand to the right side of the dude’s face, so he didn’t knock his head on the strut, when he whopped him with the other hand? Thoughtful! 👌🏽😁
Thank you everyone for your thoughtful & kind responses to my panic attack last night. I wanted to share & found the kind words such a comfort. I appreciate it so much. Knowing people are so kind (here, at work, at home, friends) is actually a great help for anxiousness! 🙏❤️
Before everyone starts slagging off everyone else re: Calverley Square - it was the most dignified, intelligent, passionate debate on all sides. All speeches were eloquent, with integrity & dignity. Among councillors, no heckling. It was moving actually. We should be proud.

Chris, you are an absolute HERO. We are all indebted to you for raising the issue of the need for men to check their testicles for testicular cancer. I salute you one thousand times. That’s a real man. We need more like you. Thank you. 💪🏽🔥👌🏽

I’m going to say this - if the councillors and candidates and their supporters spent less time on point-scoring & squabbling over politics on social media and got stuck into issues, such as the current threat to older people’s care in Tunbridge Wells they’d be better people.
Whole villages have been cut of by these bus service cuts. It's INSANE. I think this has been the local story of the decade really. (It's like the libraries cull, but much worse)

I walked past this box in Tunbridge Wells at lunchtime. The phone was RINGING! Truthfully. I leaned in and picked it up. It said press one for message. I did. It was a speaking text. It said: “Hun, I’ll call you later.” How cool is that?

Well, I’ve had my first ever panic attack this evening. Felt like every fear and all the grief I’ve ever felt (or suppressed) was loaded on a juggernaut and hit me. Thankful my husband was in. 😢
