i am very good about locking my car manually (it also does so automatically if i’m not fast enough) so i think they might be doing it with one of those repeater things. really frustrating. a sweetheart like me should be able to keep helpful little items in her car

I had a similar experience at a sold out screening of Blue Velvet a year or two ago. obviously there's plenty to laugh at in that film, but it's fairly easy to tell when the crowd is laughing in connection to the film and when its laughing to distance itself from the film

And comedy is one thing but listening to other people hang out with their friends — or, horrifyingly, pretend to be doing that for your entertainment — is a debased way to spend time.

i took a very hot bath the other day (usually i only take showers) and it harmed my body, mood, and soul. i felt terrible afterwards. having a bath ruined my night. nobody talks about how it’s a horrible thing to do
