I’m guessing that your own household finances, and those of your family and friends, haven’t done so well in the same period.

There are people I admire & respect in the Church of England, but this from Justin Welby (Eton, Trinity, the oil industry) is really the most dismal exercise in a corrupt and contemptuous Establishment closing ranks and telling the rest of us to put up it.
