Before Oct 7, 2023, #Israel intelligence assessed ~60% of #Hamas fighters were men who'd lost their fathers/parents in previous wars with #Israel. With ~70,000 dead in #Gaza, ending that cycle of violence will require *huge* change to the decades-long status quo. HUGE.

The Netanyahu government is so fearful that Trump will abandon Netanyahu’s obstructionism that it doesn’t want a Palestinian member of the Knesset to raise the issue of a Palestinian state, even though that’s the only viable route to the lasting peace that Trump says he wants.
They kicked me out of the Knesset just for raising the simplest demand, one that the whole international community agrees on: Recognize the State of Palestine! Recognize the simple truth: There are two peoples here, and no one is going anywhere.
