Would be so fucking cool if Andy Robertson bought this on eBay, and then complained that it never arrived and got his money back
@manwhohasitall
I certainly hope he has a whistle, flares, water, two phones and his keys in his hand; and he’s wearing clothes that are brightly coloured to be seen, but also plain so he’s not sexualised; and walking only on well lit main roads. Although if anything happens it’s his own fault.
@commaficionado
A neurodiversity ball sounds like a terrible idea dreamt up by neurotypical people so that they can say “well we invited you but you didn’t want to come so we made the decisions for you”
@simonharris_mbd
My parents were both teachers. I get 28 days annual leave now and I don’t think either of them ever had as many proper days off as I do.
I lay on the pavement in the foetal position because there was too much sensory input around.
I was the chair of the board of a mental health charity at the time.
Autism isn’t simple and it isn’t remotely the same every day.
I wore velcro shoes for as long as I could get away with and still hate tying laces.
I have a masters degree and am a published writer.
Autistic people often have 'spiky skill sets'. One reason it's a bad idea to assume anything.
Right. Anyone else who doesn’t consider women’s sport to be sport, or women able to be knowledgeable about sport, or anything similar: unfollow me now because I’d rather have 500 less followers than loads that I think are absolute wankers.
A huge thank you to the

@AVWFCOfficial
fans around me who all helped despite having good reason to think I was nuts.

If you’re too thick* to understand the difference between the organisation called Black Lives Matter, and taking the knee in support of black lives mattering; you may now unfollow me.
Equally, if you have ever used the phrase “all lives matter” in response, off you go too.
@Herring1967
A basic rule of thumb would be useful here. How much older is allowable? Do you have to be born on the same day? The same year? A fixed number of years different? A percentage of your years? I don’t know whether I have to break up with my partner or not now.
This is extremely important. I had a meltdown at work this week for the first time in years. I’d explained to colleagues that what was happening would be too much for me; told them what I needed to be ok (not a lot) and was ignored. That’s not alright.
When an autistic person is close to meltdown, stop pushing. If you're the cause, or something nearby, just back off and give space. Causing or exacerbating an autistic meltdown, given how unbelievably horrible they feel, is not OK.

Ahahaha just found out about the
#londonprotest
. Where all the people with the lowest IQs in the country will join in stupidity to protest that they can’t do anything while I walk to some charity shops en route to a football match then have a takeaway.
This is a really good thread about supporting autistic pupils in simple ways. As an autistic person with a long history of working in autism education; I’d add: 1) Don’t just group autistic pupils together, or expect them to want to work only with other autistic students; and
Easy fixes that schools can implement today to help their autistic students - a thread just off the top of my head.

The morning after and what a night it was
@DulwichHamletFC
. Absolutely deserved for the players, staff, fans and volunteers who ensured we still have a club to go to.
Let’s take the positivity from last night and turn it into three points at Welling on Tuesday. See you there.

Thank you for this, Wes, from an autistic Ipswich fan. Normalising this really helps. Here’s me today at a match with my ear defenders on!
We found this necklace in
#Wimbledon
and would like to trace the owner - please RT. I doubt it has financial value but v likely sentimental. If it’s yours, tell me what’s on the other side and I’ll arrange to return.
@keithdunn
@JasminKParis
Also worth bearing in mind: Jasmin would have needed to do loop 4 faster than the leaders did to make the cut-off, so this isn’t surprising given that. Heroic performance to even give it a go.
If you think one day of teachers striking is harming children you should see what years of funding cuts and massively increased poverty has done to them. Always support striking workers.
I’m here at Fulham Women, the team, ground and club more terrified of football supporters than any other. The terrace is closed because “Dulwich fans might put the goalie off” - a riposte to our last cup tie when our fans had the temerity to go “oooooh” during a shoot out.
Shirt collectors: which club do you have the most of in your collection? How many do you have? Is it the team you support, or a team you’ve adopted because you love their shirts?
Unsurprisingly it’s Dulwich Hamlet for me, I have approx 45 of them.
Those of you who’ve followed women’s football on social media for some time will be aware that no-one cares about women’s football.
Here’s the crowd at a Wednesday night step 5 women’s match at

Thanks so much to everyone for the well-wishes and messages yesterday. We had an amazing day and I’m sorry I haven’t had time to reply to most of them, but they really were appreciated by me and

This is one of those posts where a small number of characters doesn’t tell the story btw. A lawyer offering to help pro bono doesn’t deserve to be attacked for not saying it’s definitely discrimination.
I’m here at the Dripping Pan, in the week when the Lewes supporters Club derided Dulwich for having no atmosphere and being too middle class, for a true working class football experience.
@womenstransfer
Even as a Chelsea W supporter I’m astonished not to see Maanum on there. Walsh, obviously. Caroline Graham Hansen. And there’s two or three who seem to be on the list based on past reputation unless I’m totally wrong about their performances last season.
@manwhohasitall
This is the kind of smart thinking that made me grow a terrible beard. Now people say “what a terrible beard” instead of “what a terrible person”.
