I’ll think about that during food coma on Christmas 🎄.
The only explanation that I could think of was: memory is expensive. It takes energy. Once food is found and consumed, memory must be prioritized over active exploration. You don’t currently need to experience new things. And so you shift energy away from motion to memory. /4
