I lost count of the number of times I heard “listen to women” in todays historic parliamentary debate on birth trauma @theodoraclarke @RosieDuffield1. The bravery of women was palpable in the room and the message clear. Listen. To. Women. #birthtrauma #maternity #PatientSafety.

#BirthTraumaInquiry has reminded me (again) of these simple, yet inconceivably complicated signals that might suggest a #maternity system that listens well. We get there by listening with utter and intent fascination to service users- working unrelentingly together.
