This is Refugee Week. At SASH me and MNVP celebrated by gifting local asylum seeking women with goody bags to show they are welcome, thanking midwives with cupcakes and visiting our VCSE partners.

1. Such an interesting tour, would highly recommend, not just for the often unheard historical narrative but for the unheard narrative of contemporary women who are compelled to sell sex today.

I often support women who have been forced to sell sex. Yesterday we met @beyondstreet, heard about their work reaching out to similar women, whilst also hearing the stories of Whitechapel Women, killed by the murderer known as Jack the Ripper. 🧵
