I have often worried about the dangers of a kind of ‘middle-class saviour’ complex arising from good intentions and poor execution. Parts of what Darren articulates speaks to that and make me question my own practice. It is uncomfortable, but necessary 3/3.

@EckhartTolle talks about this a lot. It is ‘just’ a story, not our whole being. Which is true for us all, trauma survivor or not. I’m also thinking about the need for professionals who work in or around the ‘trauma’ landscape to engage with Darren’s book and ideas 2/3.
