Tomorrow is the 1st time in 2 years, @fordnation youth are part of the convo. Lockdowns, missed milestones & the longest school closures in 🇨🇦- they deserve to play, they deserve learning centres', they deserve grads & prom & much more. Kids deserve to be kids. #onted.

Schools must reflect the community. After 2 yrs of kids being left behind- Mon is the 1st step towards normalcy w. learning centres’, no cohorts etc. proms & grads. These milestones matter. Our kids are ppl w. emotional & developmental needs. Not vectors of disease. #onted.

Covid mitigation strategies should be consistent and designed by the Ministries and Public Health Units - not school boards, administrators, trustees and unions. Excessive restrictions are being implemented in a vacuum despite emotional, mental and physical impacts….
