When we proposed the Bloor Bike lane pilot, we also proposed a rigorous third-party economic study. It was done and found a financial benefit to local businesses, on top of the significant safety improvements to ALL road users with minimal delays.

"All of the evidence we’re seeing tells a very compelling story – bike lanes are good for business, they improve safety for all road users, and reduce congestion." Businesses on Bloor Street @BloorAnnexBIA , where @fordnation wants to eliminate bike lanes.

Doug Ford plans to send Ontario taxpayers $32,000,000,000 of their own money right before calling an expensive early election. And yet we somehow can't afford to fix the Ontario Science Centre roof? What utter nonsense. We deserve so much better. #MakeBetterChoices #onpoli

.@fordnation has the largest budget in #Ontario history to fund alcohol, a tunnel, and a spa🍾🛣️💅 Now he wants to spend $3.2 BILLION on a bribe to make you forget that we don't have enough doctors, teachers, or trades🧑‍⚕️🧑‍🏫👷 We need an Ontario that invests #MoreForeYou

Traffic in Toronto is bad; NOT because of cyclists, but because there are NOT enough cyclists. Mayors & council have failed to build SAFE networks; just pieces. No connectivity! Ignorant Transport Min. @PrabSarkaria & Ford go against what best cities are doing: SAFE BIKELANES!!

@JoshMatlow Open up citizen enforcement. Create an app and let the public take a picture of a car blocking a bike lane or crosswalk and submit their license plate. Jackpot of revenue for the city, frees up cop resources, dangerous drivers get a deterrent, a win/win/win.

No matter what you think of Trudeau, this smarmy, petty, thin skinned weasel is not a serious option. #NeverPoilievre Pierre Poilievre acts as if there's power in being unlikeable. It's not a good look https://t.co/BtCvNBgqb1 via @torontostar

Having a National childcare program doesn’t mean Canada is broken. Feeding hungry school children doesn’t mean Canada is broken. Dental care for less fortunate doesn’t mean Canada is broken. Voting against these programs prove the Conservatives are broken.

Anyone considering voting for Doug Ford next time should be shown this chart. This is the result, at least in part, from underfunding healthcare, ignoring public health experts, and piecemeal privatization. #VoteFordOut #onpoli

@CatharineM90386 @TheBikingLawyer @kingswaybia I do actually. Blocks from Royal York Subway Station. And me and my parents (who drive all the time) very much support the bikes. My mom actually thinks the car traffic flows better now with the bike lanes.

New data from a poll commissioned by @OPSEU confirms what we already know - that the vast majority of Ontarians: ➡️ want the Science Centre to stay where it is ➡️think moving it is financially reckless ➡️think @fordnation isn’t doing it in their best interests #onpoli

#ONpoli Doug Ford's biggest policies over the past 6 years: 1) Legalizing sports betting 2) Booze in convenience stores 3) Profiteering in healthcare 4) Piling up record debts with bloated construction deals 5) Backroom deals with his wedding guests

There are 459,005 Canadian nursing professionals. Poilievre Conservatives would rather mock them than listen to their most experienced leaders. Nurses lead with feet on the ground. But the right doesn't have the sense to listen. @Skamski @DorisGrinspun https://t.co/pY0bEoW5Pz
