It’s not the state. Austin is not representative of Texas. However, it is shifting more and more this way in the major metro area IE.. Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, but Austin is far far broken than any other area in Texas.

I had been living in the suburbs my whole adult life and a year ago I moved to the country in Texas. Granted I didn’t get the fancy 3000’ house on the cul de sac with the pool that I had, but the 1400’ 40 yr old house on 7 acres, I have never been so happy. I can shoot daily😎
