Baloo and I hit Riverbend Park today and caught nothing but some great views. Tried fishing with a spotted lantern fly and these things are so useless the fish wouldn’t even eat them!

worth acknowledging how many people excused Joe Biden for doing "what any father would do" re: Hunter, when that's not true. parents can and do make choices https://t.co/WQzXVcHwhi
Sources tell CNN the suspect confessed to his father that he was the shooter. His father told authorities and said he had secured his son until they could arrive to pick him up.

Not many people remember that WES went on Fox to say that Trump shouldn’t run again, during the height of DeSantismania. But Trump does

As a holder of many unpopular views you just shouldn’t get shot for them under any circumstances.

You can't just shut the government down over "Trump is a fascist". Voters aren't going to buy it. If you shut the government down because "a ton of you are going to get kicked off your healthcare", that's a more tolerable strategy with a more clearly defined ask.

Trekz Air shokz have been amazing for me bc they wrap around and the speaker bypasses my bad ear so I can hear in it. Otherwise I’m at 50% hearing loss and the ear shape won’t hold AirPods—not the end of the world by any stretch but getting it back (kinda) is incredibly rad.

I agree with Ezra Klein that Democrats can't just agree to fund the government. It's far too weak a response in the face of an openly authoritarian administration. But as Klein points, if they refuse to fund the government without a clear argument they're going to lose. And they

Breaking: Democratic state Rep. James Talarico will announce Tuesday he's jumping into the race for U.S. Senate, according to one person familiar with the plans who was granted anonymity to discuss them.

The Austin Democrat has made a name for himself with his viral social media presence. His entry to the race pits him against former U.S. Rep. Colin Allred in the increasingly crowded primary.

My ancestors arrived from Poland in 1908 and 1912 on my dad’s side and earlier on my mom’s side from Ireland/Scotland. All sought a more prosperous, peaceful life and they found it. We don’t have to pull up the ladder behind us—that’s a choice and we should make a different one!
My ancestors arrived in Missouri from Germany in the 1840s. Back then, Missouri was as far west as you could go. Think about the kind of people it takes to do that—to build a home on the edge of the known world. Those were the kinds of people our ancestors were. 🇺🇸

Sorry but how are these at all mutually exclusive? Klein, for his part, has said he expects Democrats to run on “on abundance, populist and anti-oligarchal themes,” and “the idea that someone is going to just pick one of these things is stupid.”
Scoop - Pollster Geoff Garin, Brian Fallon & Groundwork Action briefing Dems on one of first deep dives into “Abundance” this week, per memo. They argue economic populism > Abundance in campaigns. Previews econ messaging divisions ahead of 2026: https://t.co/Udv6N7AUls
