I was a teacher. I participated in many active shooter drills. A school on my caseload was one of the first school shootings 20 years ago. I donโt understand what sort of training this was? We were taught how not to get shot.

My absolute favorite was my daughter in martial arts. She had been in the black belt class (she was 9 at the time). Kid who didnโt know her moved up. In sparring, he looks at her and says โa girl. This will be easy.โ He refused to spar with her again for years.
