've been saying since the 1990s that the easiest way to get into the experience business is to add a cafe -- for it engages all five senses and gets customers to spend more time with you. @grace_snelling in @FastCompany says its still true:

You are what you charge for! And that means for experiences you should charge for the time customers spend with you.
TLDR: any maturing goods/services economy eventually trends towards experiences, both for.- service providers looking to escape commoditisation,.- and consumers looking for goods/services that are memorable+personal vs ones that just do the job. Nuggets:.- "An experience occurs

"Welcome to the Experience Economy". Evergreen essay. Written for @HarvardBiz in '98 to describe 1990s America, but does a neat job of summing up where consumption in metropolitan India is trending towards in the 2020s🎂
