I've been intrigued by Crassigyrinus since undergrad days and so pleased to play a part in bringing this study to fruition. More early tetrapod excitement to come with on-going and future projects.
So excited that - at long last - our 3D digital reconstruction of the skull of the awesome Carboniferous tetrapod #Crassigyrinus is available #openaccess from @JVP_vertpaleo ! Co-authors include @jemilyr and the late Jenny Clack.

We’ve had an amazing time on the @BristolPalaeo @UoBEarthScience field trip to Spain. Fabulous rocks fossils and museums and colleagues who generously gave their time and expertise to make it possible.
All that’s left of the @BristolPalaeo Iberian Chains fieldtrip is our flight back to Bristol. We’ve had an amazing time and that’s all thanks to our wonderful colleagues, most especially @Conodontoman and @Macro_Fun who carried much of the logistics
