This is really gross. I know money is money, but I can’t imagine lowering your standards to the point of getting into bed with an organization as perfidious as the Boston Red Sox.

What happened the last time the U.S. tried permanent DST? 79% supported it beforehand, but after many dark winter mornings, support plunged to 42%. People didn’t like it! The most recent permanent DST bill failed, and history shows that's for the best. https://t.co/vLi2QTQ8Bb

A 1974 switch to year-round DST proved unpopular, with Americans expressing "distaste" for the long, dark winter mornings

I feel like the NIH Biosketch format hasn’t changed lately. Should we do these in Swedish moving forward?

Happy angioplastyversary #cmgsays
September 16, 1977, Andreas Gruentzig performed the 1st coronary angioplasty in Zurich. Below is the story, told by the 1st patient himself, Adolph Bachman, and his doctor, Bernhard Meier. This was the birth, not just of interventional cardiology, but a whole new branch of

Robert Redford was my favorite, it’s hard to process that he is gone. His performances made more movies I love than anyone else, I’d take The Sting over any film for flawless perfection. We don’t expect famous people to also be good people but he was. He belongs to the ages

RIP David Baltimore. To make a discovery directly challenging fundamental molecular biology so convincingly to win a Nobel Prize shortly thereafter is simply remarkable https://t.co/v4aqnyNfcS

He was only 37 when he made a discovery that challenged the existing tenets of biology and led to an understanding of retroviruses and viruses, including H.I.V.

I'm excited that @Jjiyeon_lee's 2nd paper from the lab is out in @NatureAging. We found that the circadian gene REV-ERBalpha regulates brain NAD+ by controlling CD38 in astrocytes. REV-ERB KO or pharmacologic inhibition mitigates tau pathology in mice.

@mattinwpb @mcuban This is just terrible. My wife and I have now stopped using our ‘pharmacy benefit’ for either of us as cost plus now carries all our meds and is cheaper, and allows for a 90 day supply. Our PBM-negotiated rate was 30 days max. What a PITA.
