@paullewismoney Really! You think a poll on X reflects what people think? Wood smoke is toxic and dangerous to health it is not something to have a vote over. We must have cleaner air for all of us to breathe! Wtf!

@paullewismoney @VegasSoup You may think its hilarious, but those of us that have been hospitalised by a neighbour's wood smoke don't think its a laughing matter! https://t.co/19AmeXCBoe

@LittleNinjaUK @jksmith34 @SocEnvJustice @visitcamberwell @ShimanoSteve @indieHackney @KatharinaH42 @ioisours @seanpaulday @TheFox89688362 Hackney has 70% of road space closed by LTNs. Congestion on the remaining (residential!) roads is now more congested than ever before the covid LTNs. Daily 7-8 hrs of idling traffic is the new norm. Residents breathing in more pollution for the benefit of the already better off.

@LittleNinjaUK @jksmith34 @SocEnvJustice @visitcamberwell @ShimanoSteve @indieHackney @EvanDriscoll10 @KatharinaH42 @ioisours @seanpaulday @TheFox89688362 LTNs are clearly not about air quality. @RBKingston have admitted they don't monitor PM2.5 & permitted & fund a "community forge" that burns huge quantities of "smokeless fuel" every week right next to LTN. Scandalous! Lots of homes in LTN also burn wood. Dangerous PM2.5 levels.

‘Engine Off, Every Stop’ campaign shows councils understand LTN schemes that increases traffic congestion are dangerous. Idling vehicles emit pollutants including NO2 and PM2.5, which are linked to asthma, heart disease, chronic bronchitis and cancer. https://t.co/onKZEvDwES

Will you sign our petition for safe bus travel? We're calling for a pause on dangerous bus stops that put people with sight loss in harm's way.

It’s desperately sad that the Secretary of State, Heidi Alexander, is actively working to exclude blind people from their bus services and banish them to their homes to curry the favour of fit young people who have endless transport choices. Please sign their petition.

The cycle lobby continue to lie about evaporation…… 2pm and the congestion outside the LTNs are shocking …. @SWG_Labour increased harm upon others calling it a success….. @PGCommunity celebrated gaining a quiet road while harming children fir personal gain …..

@SolveRosendale @WestDulwichLab @TfL @mcash @helenhayes_ @AirCroxted You know that Croxted Rd has really suffered since the advent of Dulwich Village LTN timed closures? Perhaps you could campaign for a review of these? @DulwichCleanAir

Here’s the reason @willnorman is now tweeting about cycling ‘feeling’ safer as opposed to actually being safer. Since he was appointed in 2016 the number of serious cyclist injuries has risen whist other modes fell. The risk of serious injuries per journey has also risen.

Liveable Neighbourhoods LTNs Active Neighbourhoods People Friendly Streets A new one to add to the Bullshit Bingo list of phrases for closing roads: "Place Strategy" Westminster plan to restrict through traffic in Pimlico, which in my mind was an old LTN https://t.co/YxYQEIUVJk

.@willnorman doesn’t tell us that they are in fact taking bus lane out as part of this scheme and that they misinform decision makers using euphemisms like ‘challenging’ in the equality assessments instead of telling them blind people will be excluded from their bus services.

@indieHackney @hackneycouncil @VincentStops @hackneycitizen RNIB and Guide Dogs warned that micro mobility vehicles would get bigger and faster over the next few years. How are pedestrians meant to safely share spaces with these or cross cycle paths to get to floating bus stops?

Is it now permitted for these vehicles to be stationed in pedestrian areas? Just how large can these vehicles go, as @TfL prepares to remove even more pedestrian space from its red routes to accommodate advocates for segregationist infrastructure?
Walking along a narrow pavement in @hackneycouncil yesterday I saw this👇. Not only was it taking up about half the pavement but I’m am very frightened at the thought of these machines sharing a pavement with pedestrians. What makes this a bicycle? @VincentStops @hackneycitizen

This for all the lazy cycling journos who think it’s their job just to re-spin whatever @TfL and @WillNorman brief you on. Ask them about ACTUAL serious cyclist injuries running at 1000 a year, not puff pieces about how people are ‘feeling’ safer! @BBCTomEdwards @RossLydall
London’s Cycling Commissioner, @WillNorman, is spinning too much. Here he is wrong. @TfL changed the way they generated this statistic in 2023 & backdated it. From their figures it’s a 42% increase. This is about the same increase in serious cycle injuries we will see this year.

@SocEnvJustice @SarahWoodberryD @hackneycouncil @JohnJohnStewart @hackneycitizen @hackneygazette @LittleNinjaUK @indieHackney @VincentStops @carowoodley @myldn @jksmith34 If LTNs are shifting pollution and congestion to my neighbours' streets, that's environmental injustice. Hackney needs real solutions-not just clever data spins.

There is something perverse about this video. Bus speeds in London are at their lowest level. Traffic congestion is at its worst ever. Painters, plumbers, delivery vans, cabbies stuck in traffic. Prices rise. Yet none of this seems to matter to LCC's Simon Munk. Myopic.
📢 NEWS: Cycling journeys up 43% over the past six years to 1.5 million a day 🚲 📈A new report from @TfL show's that London is now well on its way to becoming a cycling megacity: https://t.co/B1s43GWoxz What's next? Outer London! Join up that cycle network @MayorofLondon 👀
