One challenge to the hope this provides me is that it's very easy to update yourself. If you didn't know Claude was THAT good, now you do. And the arbitrage is gone. Yes, a simple man may only want arbitrage. There are few secrets here, and Andre's problems aren't mine.

@ibab It’s very good. People who aren’t keeping up even over the last 30 days already have a deprecated world view on this topic.

I've never felt this much behind as a programmer. The profession is being dramatically refactored as the bits contributed by the programmer are increasingly sparse and between. I have a sense that I could be 10X more powerful if I just properly string together what has become

sorry but i am still upset that an 'optimal' way to spend a $100m growth round is to bribe everyone to say good things about your company

I have this unusual take on AI and the future of work: Knowing "what to do" is more important than knowing "how to do". AI is basically solving all the "how tos" But the "what to do" seems almost impossible for AI, because in most cases it's something that has never been done

An elderly Canadian woman with dementia was euthanized against her will. She did NOT want MAID. She never gave consent. The decision was made by her family. Activists call assisted suicide “death with dignity.” That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Ilya Sutskever delivered the most intense AI wake-up call ever "We live in the most unusual time in history—because AI will soon do EVERYTHING humans can do. Why? Because your brain is a biological computer... so a digital one can match it. Jobs, skills, economy—everything

Google is taking a big swing at the core browser / search interface for the first time They're testing GenTabs, which turns a user's open tabs into a custom web app (ex. to plan a trip) 👇 The user can text prompt the web app to make changes

Psychologists have identified a personality trait they call the Tendency for Interpersonal Victimhood. It reflects a chronic sense of being wronged, and includes four main components: the need for recognition, moral elitism, a lack of empathy, and rumination. [Link below.]

@SwiftOnSecurity Not only does Google ignore search terms, it also just ignores a large part of the Web. I'll search for an old forum post & get nothing, but go to the forum & it's still there. Searching for 3-4 word English phrases gets dozens of hits when it should be thousands/millions.

Everyone talks about AI slop. No one talks about PE (private equity) slop. - restaurants that lost their soul - medical practices that feel like assembly lines - apartment buildings designed by an Excel formula The algorithm didn’t kill culture. The margin model did.

Chat Control being voted on in EU. Young people’s primary communication is digital. So let me explain this so also the older generation can understand. This is the digital equivalent of installing mandatory microphones everywhere in everyone’s house, bedrooms, car, gardens

NEW STUDY: Mild intermittent fasting (70% diet every other day 🐁) enhances metabolic efficiency & muscle fibers but severe IF (30% diet EOD) negatively impacts glucose tolerance, trigs, liver health & does not improve muscle fibers. How fasting is done matters 💪

Fight Chat Control. You cannot make society secure by making people insecure. We all deserve privacy and security, without inevitably hackable backdoors, for our private communications. The fact that the government officials want to exempt themselves from their own law is
