Karen Bass’ corrupt LAPD.

On Tuesday December 2, the Los Angeles City Council shut down a proposal that would have restricted the LAPD’s use of tear gas and 40 millimeter foam rounds against protestors and people in Los Angeles. @ShotOn35mm shares more details on the falied proposal.

Campaign websites are one of the most equitable ways to talk to voters, requiring little money. If they are any guide to a candidate’s vision, the choice for LA Mayor is clear: Rev. Rae. Why should we expect change from any candidate who won’t tell us what it looks like?

Rev. Rae then proceeds to outline her vision for Los Angeles, and how she would address major issues facing the city. No other candidate comes close to such detail.

A donate spread is also the first thing one sees at https://t.co/tx86Uof1zs. Beutner makes some legitimate critiques of how Mayor Bass has governed LA, but his prescription amounts to little more than pledging, in a video on ambulance response times, more money for LAFD.

First thing you see visiting https://t.co/GoqSLgG5TP is a donate pop-up. Bass claims to stand up to ICE raids, not mentioning LAPD’s assaults on protesters and journalists. She misleadingly claims a decrease in homelessness in her list of “accomplishments.” No new policies.
