After a wonderful run, Polygon Labs and I have mutually decided that now is a good time for me to step down. I will continue cheering the team on from the sidelines, grateful for the journey, and rooting for Polygon.

I'm a big fan of psilocybin. It has helped my mental health tremendously over the years. Note: Always do research and be safe.

I'm going to test psilocybin as a longevity therapy. Here's my protocol. In recent studies, psilocybin improved survival in aged mice and increased cellular lifespan in human fibroblasts. My protocol: + 5 grams dried mushrooms monthly, for 3 months. + This is equivalent to

Given all the attention TEEs have received over the last few days, I wrote a piece about a systematic mistake we're making A big part of the story of crypto is identifying the tools we need and then improving them by orders of magnitude (e.g. ZK and permissionless consensus) 👇

We don't evaluate FHE/MPC based on the performance we can achieve today, but rather where we think we can be in 5-10 years with lots of academic work and hardware acceleration Evaluating secure hardware solely based on the products people use today is a mistake

Okay time for a take: The shutdown of public-facing news outlets doesn't always mean there's less reporting happening. It means research becomes a boutique product paid for by whales. It means the little guy getting scalped more and more often. This is what they want.

Devastating to see that the closure of Blockworks' news division is actually happening. Obviously a lot of takes to be took, but for now, my heart goes out for those impacted. You guys did good work.

PSA: this is an application of the attack published a few weeks ago to newer chips It still doesn't apply to BuilderNet (or any Flashbots products) because of the physical access requirement but it *does* highlight some of the R&D we're doing [post below]

TLDR - TEEs broken again in a lab. - Doesn't affect BuilderNet or other Flashbots products, as we don't allow operators to run outside of vetted cloud environments. No user funds or data ever at risk. - Attack is nontheless very relevant for moving beyond the cloud model, our

I misunderstood the @Ledger multisig announcement the other day. I understood they've decided to charge like a Swiss private bank, but I've only just realized the extent to which they're not actually private at all... I was also dismayed to see that this is still NOT a Ledger

Other nuance to add: I try as much as possible to use the words "unconditional exit window" instead of stage two, because the stage two criteria as defined by

Very interesting. @ChorusOne says the governance voting is being ignored & @ilblackdragon says that voting is just a signal & not representative of what gets put on chain (and that vetoing happens via validators at the consensus layer). I'm a fan of using voting as a signal

@OGNodeFather @Ledger @safe So far only the frontend on https://t.co/lRGrJc9ICt has an extra fee. For third-party apps, Ledger will charge the app providers. Especially free apps will have to forward these fees to the users as they can't be subsidized. So eventually there might be a Ledger tax on every
