To be clear, I am not seeking the most "cypherpunk" outcomes in protocol design because it is a cool aesthetic I wish to imitate I do it because I seek to avoid dystopian outcomes for humanity that limit freedom and enable fascist/authoritarian rule
@hanni_abu @lex_node Decentralizing power is the hardest problem to solve, because why would I willingly give up the power if I have it?

Shall we dispel some FUD? Let's start with Tether where @paoloardoino laid it out as clear as day - Tether Group assets exceed stablecoin liabilities by $30B https://t.co/YZKaDd7BSn

Diving into one of the strangest crypto sell-offs ever. Wall Street is seeing all of the same bullish signs that I'm seeing -- equity, credit and gold/silver markets are launching to ATHs every month because the Fed is cutting rates, QT is ending, consumer spending is strong,

Over the weekend I watched 'Now You See Me: Now You Don’t'. Tried to switch off crypto for a bit. But in the opening scene they expose three crypto scammers who robbed people via their fake CEX. Not spoiling the rest, but every time crypto shows up in movies it’s the same

if employers don’t want to hire entry level people anymore due to lack of meaningful skills because AI can do the grunt work then i think that’s the likely the end of the generalist college degree and higher education must quickly retool into something which gives people real

A concession: When we started mapping out our development pipeline for @truemarkets, we created a priority list of feature upgrades. There were several items on that list, but in terms of priority, liquidity was not at the top. In fact, it was much closer to the bottom. Our

suborbital TEEs guarded by space BORGs who is building this
@lex_node I think all of the TEE people should actually consider this one more often. I don't trust TEEs for anything meaningful because physical access to the hardware is and remains death. If you can stick it up in orbit it kinda solves the physical access problem.

🛰️ SpaceComputer x EigenCloud 🛰️ EigenDA will become a cornerstone of our stack, anchoring data availability for both Earth-based execution and orbital consensus. We're bringing @EigenLayer with us to space!

@lex_node I saw a booth at DevConnect called Space AI They said us they are going to launch around 60 satellites soon. We can ask them to add an ETH validator on board lmao But I guess it would be much easier to do with leanEthereum

One of my favorite interviews of the year coming out tomorrow... @peterktodd spills the tea on @LukeDashjr 's very long history of filtering transactions on Bitcoin... all the way back to Satoshi Dice created by @ErikVoorhees in 2013. Fun Fact: @ErikVoorhees is an investor in

The L2 play is absolutely genius - people will study it in history books as one of the most successful strategic moves in Ethereum’s evolution. It allows the entire world to build their own configurable blockspace on top of Ethereum, tailored to their specific needs. This

Even better if it can be automated! E.G. Circle can freeze a hacker's balance automatically in response to a hack, and then (later on) publish a merkle tree of the balances pre-hack Then you can go in and prove your membership in that tree, burn it, and have tokens re-issued

Agree, if you aren't even trying to be "credibly decentralized" then there is a lot of value to on-chain dispute process that you can engage in to recover funds Right now we sort of have "worst or both worlds" in that assets can be frozen, but no credible dispute process exists
re: the yETH hack: at this point I actually really wish Circle/Coinbase would truly lean into something like ERC20-R with an appropriately well fleshed out (non-kangaroo-court) dispute resolution procedure etc. no one is going to get a court order over $200k worth of cbETH or

I used to be pretty skeptical of this view and more bullish on formal governance Blockchain that had the best formal governance? Tezos Blockchains with the worst governance ("rough social consensus")--Bitcoin and Ethereum, the two most successful ones probably nothing?
I hope Zcash resists the dark hand of token voting. Token voting is bad in all kinds of ways (see https://t.co/Cvl7CFVgtc ); I think it's worse than Zcash's status quo. Privacy is exactly the sort of thing that will erode over time if left to the median token holder.

Assange was basically destroyed by a false rape accusation concocted by the deep state
@TheSCIF Assange was set up by Swedish Deep State Establishment. July–August 2010 Anna Ardin, press secretary for the Christian wing of the Swedish Social Democratic Party (Broderskapsrörelsen), personally invites Julian Assange to Sweden to speak on freedom of expression. She
