Could somebody please explain to me why refurbishing the Houses of Parliament will cost £15billion and take 28 years, when the French could rebuild Notre Dame for £550million in just five years? I'm assuming we aren't gold-plating the plaster, so what is the British problem here?

Wow!👇 If anyone had any doubts about the real issues about farm profitability, look no further than this film. Rather pertinent to @Minette_Batters report. We won’t see more profitability when the whole job is rigged worldwide! Time to rethink how we sell to the consumer??

John Deere got this video taken off our YouTube channel for two weeks. It took our lawyers reaching out to YouTube to get it back up. The video lays out how a handful of corporations took control of the entire agriculture industry, bankrupting farmers and screwing over America.

Michel Mone linked firm goes bust https://t.co/HFkDIjxo1j Liquidation means the money will not be repaid unless the govt can go after the personal assets in trust but that could be tricky.

When the food shortages begin, how do we ensure that the wilfully ignorant are the first to go hungry? 'I told you so' will never be punishment enough.

When it says farm fresh foliage, it really means farm fresh, no matter what the weather. #eucalyptus #floristry #wreaths #buylocal https://t.co/CeZE7KRDFE #lancashire

I've often laughed at @mrmarksteel telling tales of infighting and fractious factions all slugging it out but this takes the biscuit. Incredible.

I absolutely ADORE the hard left - this is their attempt to build a united election winning machine for the glorious socialist utopia and the very best of luck to you, all good wishes etc. It is utter perfection.

By now we should pretty much know what we're getting in today's Budget, though there's still likely to be something extra as every Chancellor loves pulling a rabbit from their hat. Over the last 8 months or so we have been subjected to a veritable swarm of kites being flown,

This simply isn’t good enough. ‘We are where we are’ might apply to an act of god or action of a foreign state. The IHT debacle is the minister’s own government’s completely self-defeating policy. They could literally fix this tonight.

Thought for the day: Three times more people think the earth is flat than think this govt is handling the economy well.

In 2019 a YouGov poll suggested 3% of people in the UK thought the earth was flat. Today, YouGov polled that only 1% think the Government is handling the economy very well. Nobody at all thought the economy was in a very good state. I wonder if the Treasury is listening.

Defence focus has a persistent pattern of lagging the actual threat, with Forces/MoD decision makers consistently preparing for past conflicts rather than future ones. This threat, and similar to critical infrastructure, all identified in the 90's.

🎥How on earth did a bunch of hackers single-handedly cause Britain's GDP to shrink? And how does the economy look under the surface (clue: not quite as rosy as the Chancellor claimed this morning)? Here's my 8m primer on the one of the most unsettling data releases in years👇

Just seen this on Facebook - New Zealand lamb sold at Tesco not showing a clear country of origin until after purchase when you peel the label back. Not acceptable. But further to that - how can Tesco import frozen lamb, defrost it so they can sell it as fresh (at a premium)
