Some personal news: I'm thrilled to announce that I've joined @hack_vc as a partner & head of platform. 8 yrs in crypto = a lifetime. It all started in 2017 when a random recruiter slid into my DMs and told me about a job at @StellarOrg. I took a call with @JedMcCaleb (founder

reading books to learn is massively overrated. do more things instead and learn via first principles. do stuff, reflect, learn and try again. not binary but learned knowledge in isolation without the sting of failing/tried attempts is inapplicable anyways and thus moot.

Underrated life lesson: Confidence is less about knowing you’ll win and more about knowing you’ll bounce back even if you don’t. Real confidence is built on resilience. Adaptability. Tolerance for uncertainty. Fear loses when you embrace that failure is never final.

the old way of scaling teams is dead: we used to hire specialists – designers, engineers, PMs – each in their lane, scaling by adding more people. but when Cursor can take you from idea to code in minutes, execution isn't the bottleneck anymore. taste and judgment are. what

Music to my ears. 🎶 Witnessing any artist in Web3 pull the community into their orbit is beautiful: this is an incredibly deserved moment for @cemhah. They've been grinding for years: anything's possible!

i have this friend who always hypes up & celebrates my tiniest achievements, which i used to find cringe & fairly annoying (~shame-driven protective minimization) but bit by it, her persistence got me to start seeing my wins through her eyes, & now, every once in a while I catch

So ummm for me it's about fun, I love creating things and that's how I started and that's where I still am now and then in the middle came the money But if you only did it for the money then when you have the money life gets boring! Because money is very boring! It's just a

Your opinion is completely worthless if you're not worth at least +10M cash and have positively impacted at least a couple thousand human beings. The whole point of what I’m saying is this: when you reach a certain level in your career—whether that’s $10M or $100M—you start to

The story of technology is the story of humanity. Without it, we’re just clever apes. We’ve already beaten most of the natural ways to die. Hunger, cold, infection — all dramatically reduced. The biggest problem for almost everyone on Earth today is not survival. If you fail,

Every ceo needs a 6 week plan and an 18 month plan. The 18 month plan A) If the market totally collapsed like 2020: 1) what’s the product that the company needs to hyper focus on for the next 18 months. 2) what’s the team to do it 3) why isn’t this what the company looks

Be a small team of all devs. 1-5 heads down engineers working on really hard engineering problems is the perfect seed stage bear market startup. What most folks don't understand is that really hard engineering problems are solved by 1 engineer that is obsessively thinking

your mind can think of something impossible and if you’re stubborn enough, the universe will eventually shrug and let it happen. nothing around you was inevitable. not the chair you sit on, the food you eat or the products you use. someone just refused to drop the idea.

For those in their 20s: - be fearless. fail often. - be open to trying things. decide early if it's a hard yes or hard no. learn from your mistakes. be intentional with your time. learn who you are: your boundaries, your values, & what makes you happy. - know that perfection
