Follow up on MitoNeoD versus MitoSox. https://t.co/jgujz6RwZW Folks have asked if MitoNeoD/NeoD are available commercially. There do seem to be some suppliers, but to ensure stability of the solid we make it as the HCl salt, which does not seem to be available commercially.
We need to talk about MitoSOX... There are a number of issues with MitoSOX/hydroethidine as "superoxide" probes. One approach from Richard Hartley's lab and mine is to use MitoNeoD/NeoD. Give it a go and let us know if it works for you. https://t.co/ZSxzn9bCmi
