@alehasnaat_ I've never bought into the whole consumerism thing... Most of the things I have are 2ndhand & I volunteer for a charity that sells 2ndhand items & uses the £ to plant 🌳🌳 in Kenya. I'm not materialistic... Never have been

@magicalkenya Jambo. I've volunteered for this project for the past 5 years, working tirelessly to recycle unwanted items to fund tree planting in Boré. We also pay the village women to tend to the seedlings in our nurseries

So far we've planted nearly 2 million trees in Boré, Kenya. They're all indigenous & we're stopping items going to landfill

How can a chair plant 300 trees? Simple. It was donated to https://t.co/4MfIdZWA99 by https://t.co/6h0w3lyBFI who run the Civic Amenity recycling plant in Lampeter. We'll sell it in our new Carmarthen shop for £60 which will plant 300 trees in Kenya with Emily and Mercyline. 😎🌳

No. Unwanted clothing & any other items can be donated to https://t.co/vTVaz0L7MZ to help to fund the planting of carbon hungry 🌳🌳🙏🏻in Kenya. Every1 involved w/ the project is a Volunteer & I've volunteered there for 4 yrs.
To avoid the potential for corruption, what about some sort of charity shop / clothes bank for politicians who are scraping along and can't afford to clothe themselves... the uber wealthy can drop off designer clothes for those in need and the ruling elites can pick and choose.
