The number of Welsh children living in poverty is shocking and a cause for national shame. The two-child limit is a key driver of this poverty, impacting 65,000 children, or 11% of all children in Wales. This evening, I will be voting in favour of scrapping the cap.
This evening @Plaid_Cymru MPs will be voting to scrap the two-child cap on benefits. The vote will be a critical test for Welsh Labour MPs’ commitment to tackling child poverty. Doing nothing is an active decision that condemns more children to a life scarred by poverty
