The Nation of Sanctuary came up on the doorstep in Barry on the weekend. Residents, who face an inappropriate development of up to 400 houses on land near a busy road junction, realise the pressures uncontrolled immigration causes. The Vale has faced overdevelopment for years.

Building almost 400 houses on land at Weycock Cross in Barry will be disastrous for the local community. The adjacent road junction is already at capacity, and residents tell us they struggle to get GP appointments as it is. Local schools, meanwhile, face a funding crisis.
