Many times hypertension and tachycardia in the cath lab can be cured with a urinal and successful micturition instead of antihypertensives or beta blockers. #cathlabhacks #TheMoreYouKnow

For #RadialFirst from L arm try swapping out short sheath for long Glidesheath & leave 1/2 sheath out. Saves your back. #CathLabHacks

Use a 5 Fr Halo One thin-walled hydrophilic sheath with a 4 Fr pigtail. Or in this case a 6 Fr Halo One thin-walled hydrophilic sheath with a 5 Fr Jacky (just for pressure measurement, no LV grams with end hole catheters!) Sheath tip in central Ao. #CathLabHacks #CardioTwitter

@rwyeh @KaulP See one. Improve one. #SoMe style. Use 4 French dilator inside 14G. No need to change from the .035" wire. #cathlabhacks

Bilateral coronary angio with single pump injector. Not perfect for sure. How would you do it? #CathLabHacks. Injecting trough the contralateral cath just until the end when ipsilateral 3 way stopcok also opened to the pump. Bilateral #dTRA #radialfirst access #CTO101

RHC on patient with pacer leads can be harder than a PCI. Catheter/wire selection is key. Work in RAO. Slow down and be careful with every move. #accifit #scaifit #TCT #cathlabhacks #crf @SCAI @AnkurKalraMD @mirvatalasnag @DrJayMohan #cardiotwitter @VuMediCardio @CathLabDigest

I occasionally post #CathLabHacks, but yesterday I noticed a brilliant @MBSuperdome hack. Bring a baby stroller drink holder & attach to the seat in front of you. After spilling two Diet Cokes perched on the floor by our feet, @lindseydhoman and I wished we’d thought of this!
