I see membership of @TheBMA as essential & don’t resent these subs I also think the 190,000 members won’t resent £2 of their annual fee being donated to @AnaesUnited legal case against @gmcuk attempting to ensure proper, safe regulation of associates’ scope RT if you agree🙏

Hello @gmcuk. Your public consultation on your intended regulation of physician associates closed on 9 May. Why haven’t the results been shared with the public? Please do so. [Day 1 of asking.] https://t.co/3scGiJzwF3

Wow NHSE, what a solution 👏 Fellow GPs, All we need to do to help hospitals is to avoid hospital admissions for our sick patients during winter?! Who knew?! Lightbulb moment indeed! (Btw NHSE - we ONLY admit patients to hospital who actually NEED hospital admission!)

A disappointing result for some. A happy result for others. The most important thing is unity. There is no union without it. Returning to a post-2016 environment will setback FPR by years, if ever. This is still a step in the right direction, even if it is a small step.

Junior doctors in England, thank you for voting in the referendum and making your voices heard. The votes are tallied and 65.97% of you voted to ACCEPT the Government’s offer. Your committee met this evening to ratify the result. We’ll be in touch soon about what happens next.

Only one thing matters now: UNITY. If you aren't happy with the offer: that's good. It's time to get organised and prepare your colleagues for April 2025. This forms only the first step to FPR. DDRB and Government fail to keep us on track to FPR for 27/28 = Strikes

American PAs are fighting Drs opposing scope creep Blocking scope creep labelled ‘divisive’ by PAs If you want to practice medicine, go to medical school NHS has this to look forward to. PAs won’t be happy until they are indistinguishable from Drs @gmcuk @RCPhysicians @rcgp

🚨AAPA sent a letter to the @AmerMedicalAssn confronting its unjust and harmful attacks on PAs and other healthcare providers. We called for an end to their divisive "scope creep" campaign. https://t.co/FAgZeT5trR #PAsGoBeyond

I have no shame in admitting my views at the beginning of my PA programme may well have lined up with Adam’s here. But that was 7 years ago, and opinions change based on our knowledge and experiences, as mine have. Hardly a “gotcha” moment.

You’re right - my time off, which is both a legal and contractual right, is more important to me than coming in when I am not being paid to complete paperwork that can be done by any other doctor who has seen a patient in their last 28 days of life.

@AlexPanton1 @doctor_dru_ And now we know why funerals are delayed, because a Dr doesn't care enough to make sure the relevant paperwork is completed. His time off is more important!!!
