The disabling #Fibromyalgia Syndrome is simply painful discs in the neck and low back. Women should be careful with any resistance training and should not lift weights.

The intervertebral disc has no internal blood supply after age 20. They begin to rot primarily in the curves of the spine. In #women once they become painful they heal poorly. @aafp Resistance Training May Yield An Unexpected Side Effect: A Healthier Gut

I wonder when will systematic reviews of #Pain neuroscience education will frame such pain reduction results as statistically significant but clinically MEANINGLESS?! Why haven’t these authors chose to do that? Their framing “PNE decreases pain intensity” is inaccurate to say the

@drjohnhaiti There absolutely has to be a connection with spinal disc and FMS. I literally just finished a nerve block at those levels, and FMS pain that was at a 6-7 pre procedure is now a 1. Had the block on the right side. Profound difference, overall.

What the CDC has on the #Fibromyalgia Syndrome is grossly inaccurate. It is not a disease. The neck and low back pain are of painful disc origin.
