We've learned from a CPD source the number of National Guard expected to be sent to Chicago will exceed 300. It could be as high as 500. We're told 100 NG will be assigned to ICE/CBP and the remainder of the detachment will be sent neighborhoods on the West and South Sides.

This morning, the Trump Administration’s Department of War gave me an ultimatum: call up your troops, or we will. It is absolutely outrageous and un-American to demand a Governor send military troops within our own borders and against our will.
