We won’t back down to the Trump Administration. Not now, not ever.

Donald Trump is not a king — and his administration is not above the law. Today, the court confirmed what we all know: there is no credible evidence of a rebellion in the state of Illinois. And no place for the National Guard in the streets of American cities like Chicago.

Come and get me.

I will not back down. Trump is now calling for the arrest of elected representatives checking his power. What else is left on the path to full-blown authoritarianism?

My message to Kristi Noem is clear: Get out of Chicago.

This morning, the Trump Administration’s Department of War gave me an ultimatum: call up your troops, or we will. It is absolutely outrageous and un-American to demand a Governor send military troops within our own borders and against our will.

- Indicting political rivals - Suppressing dissent - Rewriting history These are all chapters in the authoritarian playbook, and Donald Trump is following them step by step. Now is not the time to stand on the sidelines; it’s time to make your voice heard.

Trump didn’t just hit Illinois farmers with tariffs — he handed Argentina a bailout so they could flood China with soybeans. He’s not fighting for farmers — he’s selling them out, and Republicans in Illinois and across the country stay silent.

Illinois is the top soybean-producing state in America. Trump’s tariffs are wreaking havoc on our farmers and agricultural economy — raising fertilizer costs, shutting off markets, and driving down farm incomes.
