cool idea. we could execute a restricted set of bytecode instructions for operating on objects stored by the server. i propose the following instruction set: - GET - HEAD - PUT - POST - DELETE - CONNECT - OPTIONS - PATCH
What if, instead of writing REST APIs, clients would send *code* to be executed on the server? Sounds crazy, but hear me out: Imagine that the code is completely sandboxed; it can only interact with APIs you define. Also, the code is guaranteed to terminate, no infinite loops.

I can't pretend to posthumously claim Dharmendra as a favourite. But the heart does feel heavy today. He was THE "hero" of so many of the classics I was shown as a child. And indeed the most hero-est of heroes, with ridiculous good looks matched only by exceptional acting chops.

We're basically prewar low-background radiation steel 😂
just read this in an investor update "older engineers who graduated from college pre-GPT are actually the best-suited for our purposes. They have fundamental programming ability that's lost amongst most of the current-gen." the AI-induced thinking/skills decay has begun wild
