Needless to say, but looks like it needs to be said .. if you have a large code base depending on an open source project. Don't wait until *AFTER* their release to check if your code still works. Try it when they publish alpha(s)/beta(s)/release-candidates(s) and complain EARLY!

@dims A new open source automated complaining project would be interesting... starts off with "we happened to notice that...", escalating to "it would be good if someone could look at", then "releasing this would have a significant impact".
