Except the eldest son wasn’t “shafted” (though he certainly felt that way). He never went thru feeling so hungry that pigs food looked good to eat. He didn’t pervert his sexual desires and wreak havoc on his body and mind and soul. He didn’t make himself feel so worthless that.
