3) Additionally, public investors are a whole new group of stakeholders, and hugely complicate the governance and decision making process. It makes rapid iteration and agility much harder. Ethereum's transition to PoS would be much easier in a small, contained environment.

Really like @zooko 's example of SSL to show how privacy can be compatible with regulations. Early Cryptography like PGP or RSA was classified as munitions. RSA Security fought a long battle to fix this, and now we've come full circle.

The main reason B2DAO has not taken off at scale is the overhead involved in creating a governance proposal. Specifically, the challenge of selling to many stakeholders (as opposed to 1 decision-maker), and operating with unclear scope and unclear accountability.

The biggest challenge for me as a DAO delegate is the constant review & rejection of many proposals requesting funding. Not fun for either side but needed to protect funds. I'm a huge fan of a grants/budget committee dedicated to this with delegates focused on broader decisions
