Judge: I will prepare a fairly long judgement
I have reached the conclusions the evidence is overwhelming
CSW is not the author of the whitepaper
CSW is not satsohi
CSW is not the creator of Bitcoin
CSW did not author the Bitcoin software
I am very pleased that the U.S. court has released me. I am actively working with my attorneys on a way to return to South Africa as soon as possible so I can address this matter and get it behind me once and for all. That’s what I’ve always wanted to do.
Such a productive few days, finally got to sit down with
@SatoshiLite
and talk about a possible merger between the Litecoin Enterprise Alliance and the Monero Enterprise Alliance, which we’d obviously call the LAMEA.

Just so we're clear, Craig Wright has just openly admitted (via his lawyers) to be the guy that stole 80k BTC from Mtgox. The screenshots below show the court documents indicating the "1Feex" address is where the stolen Mtgox funds were sent. What do you have to say,
@CalvinAyre
?
@maximilianhils
When I was lead maintainer on
@monero
my default reply to people asking "when will you add X" was "when you submit a PR for it". Unfortunately none of them ever did.
All talk, no action. This moron is just a snake-oil salesman in a cheap, ill-fitting suit, wearing a gaudy watch that he thinks looks expensive because a store clerk told him as much, bragging about money he doesn’t have & skills he can’t demonstrate. It’s just sad & pathetic.
This is insane: guy buys a
@LedgerHQ
hardware wallet off eBay, which arrives already setup with this fake recovery sheet in it. He proceeds to use it, and has all his money stolen. Buy your Ledger directly from !
@andrewgdotcom
What if we stopped printing plastic credit cards that expire every couple of years, if we stopped producing machines to swipe those cards, if we stopped producing paper for printed credit card receipts, and just used Bitcoin instead? I think you’re backing the wrong pony, Andrew.
So much for Verge $XVG and their IP address privacy, someone's publishing originating IP addresses for Verge transactions (not just general node IP addresses). Considering that IP address obfuscation is their single privacy claim, looks like they're toast.
This is one of the best write-ups on "privacy coins" I've seen in a very, very long time. I'm just going to send this to people in future when they ask for an overview of the landscape.
Sorry I didn’t give you a Tesla, but instead we’ll give you two economy class tickets to attend our conference. That’s basically the same thing, right?

However, I do recognize that this is an unfortunate situation, and would like to extend my warmest welcome to the next

Finally we have confirmation, via his lawyers, that Craig Wright is the Mtgox hacker (see his claim of ownership on the 1FeeX address: ). I'd imagine those affected by the Mtgox hack will want to pursuing Craig Wright for his theft of their BTC.

Mircea Popescu died last week. He was a thoroughly unlikeable person, who taught me so much about Bitcoin. I think the thing that will stick with me is his insistence that noobs lurk for 6 months before saying anything. We’d have stronger communities if this was a tradition.
"It's so volatile - why would you want to invest in something that can just drop 20% in a day? Why would you put your money anywhere that is that risky? It sounds like a massive scam, a giant ponzi scheme, and the bubble is clearly bursting." - me, on the topic of Facebook stock
Consensus 2017: “fluffypony is the worst! He made a video with a fake announcement! I hate him!”
Consensus 2018: “fluffypony is the worst! He wore an expensive watch! I hate him!”
Well I, for one, can’t wait to see what I do at Consensus 2019.

IBM Blockchain is just an overpriced, rubbish database used to get a rubber stamp from enterprises that want to be able to tell their investors they’re “blockchain enabled”.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

moves nearly half a million dollars in value around the globe permissionlessly every second. It was never about transactions per second and coffee. It's all about value transacted per second and a new financial paradigm.

I don’t normally talk about price, but I’d like to take a moment to welcome all the newcomers to the Bitcoin rollercoaster. Plz remember:
- do your own research
- don’t listen to bagholders pumping their bags
- don’t invest more than you can lose
- don’t look at prices too often
The comment section in this thread gives me hope that, no matter how much the Bitcoin SV community tries to normalise this behaviour, the broader cryptocurrency community rejects it as disgusting and despicable.
It must be awful to be Dash, combining one of the worst privacy features with nearly zero actual usage of it, yet constantly suffering delistings along with Monero because of their aggressive marketing of it😂
PSA: Ezekiel Osborne is not one of the original Monero core team members that started the community-based stewardship of Monero, nor has he EVER been involved with Monero in ANY way. Until today none of us had ever even heard of him!

I speak out against intentional scammers, unintentional scammers, snake-oil, projects making provably false claims, & projects that cannot possibly deliver, not to spread “FUD”, but because there is genuine damage being caused by these projects.

First they came for Monero, and I did not speak out -
Because I was not a Monero holder.
Then they came for ZCash, and I did not speak out -
Because I was not a ZCash holder.
Then they came for Bitcoin - and there was no one left to speak for Bitcoin.

This is my life. I work AND I already have all this.
I still study and I already have oats.
If you think crypto is about sitting in your pyjamas and making more, expect gainz.
Enjoy seeing aspects of my holiday next week and remember that this is lying & impersonating someone
I've spent weeks working with
@p_bnntt
on a new project called: "Monero Sucks and My Altcoin is Better Comparison Chart".
Today we present the first two of hopefully many: ZCash vs Monero, and Dash vs Monero. Please distribute so we can end these ongoing debates.
lol Dash's burn rate is so high that it's at jeopardy of not being able to continue if the price drops lower, so now some people want to fire the Dash CEO for mismanagement😂

Wow. I’m really struggling to view Coinbase’s actions in anything but the harshest light.
1. Deal with blockchain tracing firm
2. Discover that firm selling client data
3. Don’t disclose this to anyone
4. Buy a firm that is made up of human rights violators
5. Profit?!?
Director of Institutional Sales at Coinbase praising Neutrino's "best-in-class technology" and saying that they needed to migrate to another "provider" because their previous one was "selling client data to outside sources." (1:25)

A few months back Natalino was diagnosed at ~12.5 years old with aggressive lung cancer, about a year after his brother passed. The symptoms are progressing rapidly now, so we’ve decided to say goodbye to him on Sunday. He’s been a good friend & a champion dog, he will be missed.
lol,
@AriDavidPaul
handling it like a champ when the reporter says (of Monero), “isn’t that the one used by criminals?” Last minute or two of the clip.
@EricHolthaus
Just wait till you learn about how much plastic is wasted and electricity is burned due to credit cards and credit card readers and banks and bank servers and bank employees driving to branches and private keys flying to Davos to discuss how they can central bank better.
Natalino’s wheezing got worse last night, so we asked the vet to come today instead of tomorrow to put him to sleep. He was the best of dogs, and he will be sorely missed. Goodbye, Natalino.
