I kind of feel weird typing this, but Gerald passed away during the night. Before I went to bed, he was showing signs of having had a stroke and this morning, I went to check on him and he's in bed, not breathing. It was very sudden and still not digested.

Had some woman coming out of a shop, giving me a filthy look from behind the door as I walked past wearing a mask. Matched her gaze, waited til she opened the door and said "And?"...funnily enough, no response. Bullies don't know what to do when brought up on their behaviour.

I am begging you - if you know someone with misophonia and you know something triggers them, please be mindful of it. The embarrassment and shame from reacting is so unpleasant and upsetting. It's not just a dislike; it's a real condition with physical and mental distress.
