Look... this is how most coaches will talk about this subject because this is how they approached early fatherhood. Always in the office. Not home very often. They expect the players to be without distraction also. What does seem to be changing is more coaches discuss working
NEW: Ole Miss coach Joe Judge tells pregnant partners of players during the season that the father has to play good football. “He needs to be in another room, detached… he ain’t waking up for midnight feedings.”

History was made tonight ⭐️ Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel are the first pair of opposing rookies that went to the same college to each drop 30+ points in the same game. The two combined for 83 points... the most of any two opposing rookies in over 50 years 🤯
The former college roommates delivered an EPIC DUEL in Dallas 🤯 Cooper Flagg: 49 PTS (career-high, most-ever by a teen), 10 REB, 20-29 FGM Kon Knueppel: 34 PTS (career-high), 4 REB, 8 3PM (new franchise rookie record), 10-16 FGM

And this doesn't even include the part where he lost in heartbreaking fashion to Miami in 2024, in front of a sell out crowd, with GameDay in Berkeley for the first time ever, in part because of a terrible targeting no-call when a Miami defender took a cheap shot at his head.
A 2-star QB scrambling for potentially the national-championship-winning touchdown on 4th down in his hometown against his hometown team after winning the Heisman for the most losing program of all time while his mother with MS screams for joy from her seat is possibly the limit

crybaby buffalo bills. let's see if they can make another rule change for y'all to continuously fold in the playoffs
#Bills HC Sean McDermott called reporter @JaySkurski from the team plane on the way back from Denver: “That play is not even close. That’s a catch all the way. I sat in my locker and I looked at it probably 20 times, and nobody can convince me that that ball is not caught and in

the 12 team playoff already has teams that don't belong so why double it and add more. playoffs shouldn't be a participation award
I’m yet to hear a compelling argument why FBS can’t just copy the already existing FCS 24-team playoff format. Top 8 ranked teams earn byes Top 7 conf champs get AQs 17 at-large bids Seed everyone 1–24 (Graphic via @CFB_Rivalries )

In 1978 USC defeated Alabama, 24-14, in a September game in Birmingham. Each team finished the season with one loss. The AP voters crowned Alabama as national champs. College football has always been dumb--used to be even dumber. 🤷🏻♂️

For the G5 it’s not about winning, it’s about inclusion. Before the playoff was introduced G5 teams were basically eliminated from a Natty before the season even kicked off. 1) The format allows auto bids for the 5 highest ranked conference champs. Don’t blame the G5 because the
Two coveted spots in the college football playoff have been taken by teams that have ZERO chance to win it all. Why??

@RossDellenger When this happens, the 17th, 18th and 19th ranked teams will cry for further expansion 😆 the cycle continues

ACC was fighting for a member school (Miami) and not for a football non member school (ND). What's so hard for ND AD to understand? The ACC, frankly, has done too much to facilitate ND being able to remain independent. (This is where I would say 'cry me a river' if anyone
Bevacqua is furious with the ACC. "We were mystified by the actions of the conference, to attack their biggest business partner in football and a member conference in 24 sports. "They have done permanent damage to the relationship between the conference and Notre Dame."

doesn't need to expand past 12 and conference champs need to be at least ranked 16 or higher to keep their automatic spot otherwise it goes to next highest ranked at large team
If you were emperor of college football, and could wave a wand and make it so, how would you structure the playoff process? All the anger over the way the committee arrived at the field of 12 is bad for the sport. CFB is supposed to be joyful and passionate, with highs and lows

I liked expanding the playoff from 4 to 12 because of a situation just like this year, where after Indiana you had a handful of teams (Ohio State, Georgia, Tech & Oregon along with A&M/Ole Miss) who all had legit claims. But that’s where it ends. All teams outside that group
