doesn't need to expand past 12 and conference champs need to be at least ranked 16 or higher to keep their automatic spot otherwise it goes to next highest ranked at large team

I liked expanding the playoff from 4 to 12 because of a situation just like this year, where after Indiana you had a handful of teams (Ohio State, Georgia, Tech & Oregon along with A&M/Ole Miss) who all had legit claims. But that’s where it ends. All teams outside that group

Since 2023, Mendoza has 53 total TDs (43 passing, 10 rushing) and only 1 INT in the red zone. Insanely good in that area of the field.
