The rookie and the vet. Thanks for being such a great mentor and role model. Can’t thank you enough.
Happy 40 years of draft coverage,

One of the greatest scouting report one-liners ever about Murray. “He runs like a toddler that just stole their parents phone.”
Haven’t been able to unsee it since that.
This is teach tape. Short, choppy steps. His feet are light and always underneath him. He has his shoulders over his toes with easy lateral hip transitions, all while keeping his eyes up. Okudah is an absolute stud. Ballerina feet.
Former Pro Bowl TE Jordan Reed is retiring, sources say. A 2013 3rd-round pick by the Washington Football Team, Reed emerged as one of the game’s best receiving TEs before battling injuries. His improbable comeback with

last season allowed him to walk away with no regrets.
The NFL announces that it will hold an HBCU Combine in Miami at the Dolphins Baptist Health Training Facility (March 27-29).
A prime opportunity for athletes around the country that may not have had the exposure to pro scouts.
• Man beside me on the plane: “So, who are the Bengals taking?”
• Me: “Should definitely be Burrow. He had a great year.”
• Him: “Yeah, it’s time they replace Carson Palmer.” 🤨
Save me.
Jason Kelce had a 4.14 short-shuttle time (yes, you read that correctly) at the Combine. The fastest time ever recorded for an OL in NFL Draft history and it still shows up today at 36-years old.
Joe Brady went from being a graduate assistant at Penn State to offensive coordinator of the Panthers in the span of 5 years.
You never know when your moment is coming, but prepare yourself to always be ready for the opportunity when they arise.
Cooper Kupp is a major reason why many NFL teams are now leaning more on GPS data and transitioning away from 40-yard dash times when evaluating prospects. Play speed matters most.
Excited to finally share the news:
I’ve joined
@ESPN
where I’ll be working alongside
@MelKiperESPN
and
@McShay13
as the networks newest NFL Draft and College Football analyst and writer.
This video is one of my reasons why I was excited about John DeFilippo. Here's Carson Wentz's combine interview with the Eagles. Listen to how he tests Wentz's knowledge. The dialogue here is awesome from both.

: LSU LB Devin White has a unique love for horses. He owns 7 of them – frequently riding them around campus and to his classes. He says that they they’re like his kids and he loves riding them everywhere. “Daisy Mae” is very popular.

OT Evan Neal says that he weighed in at 337 pounds prior to the Combine and that his versatility at both guard and tackle taught him a lot. Mentioned that Larry Allen is his favorite player of all-time.
Finally found a clear telecast of Randy Moss' freshman year (1996) at Marshall. This was one of many unbelievable plays in just this game. He was ridiculous.
In the OL world, this is like a unbelievable Mahomes throw. The flexibility, ability to anchor, reset and then find his balance is not normal.
He’s on track to be like another

out west.
Jerry West Executive Resume:
• Acquired Kobe from the Hornets
• Signed Shaq to the Lakers
• Drafted Klay and Draymond
• Helping hand in KD to Golden St.
• Traded for Paul George
• Signed Kawhi Leonard to the Clippers
Might be the best executive ever.
“Like window shopping at a Lamborghini dealership for the model that doesn’t come out until next year.”
Text from an NFL scout at Ohio State pro-day today after watching Marvin Harrison Jr. run routes
Penix is that older man at the YMCA that has an automatic 3-ball (his deep accuracy), but every now and then he’ll drive past you and lay it in to remind you that he can do that too even if he doesn’t rely on it often. That’s the best way I can describe it.
Underrated mobility.
Teddy Bridgewater ran out of supplies at his annual toy giveaway in his local Miami neighborhood and instead gave away $20 to every kid that didn’t get a toy.
Proud of you bro. This is great stuff.
I’m humbled, honored, and beyond thrilled to be joining the

family.
I can’t wait to get to started alongside an already stellar team to provide the best NFL Draft coverage possible moving forward.
Ohio State RB J.K. Dobbins vision, strength, and acceleration are unique. He’s a prospect that has a skill set that translates immediately to the next level
A big reason why he’s my current RB1
🔈Volume: 📶⬆️🆙
Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter did this same exact thing in college football over the past two seasons.
If you didn’t know, you simply weren’t paying attention.
Quentin Johnston gets all of the love on his 76-yd. TD catch and run, but watch the center.
This is as exotic of a third down blitz as you’ll find from Michigan. He scans all the way to the C gap to find the blitzing safety. High level stuff. TCU is a very well coached team.
Best draft class that I could find over the past 5 seasons was the 2017 group from the Saints:
• 1st – Marshon Lattimore
• 1st – Ryan Ramczyk
• 2nd – Marcus Williams
• 3rd – Alvin Kamara
• 3rd – Alex Anzalone
• 3rd – Trey Hendrickson
Back when the NFL Draft was a two day event and each pick was 15 minutes long, I was that little kid who sat in front of the TV and watched every single second of it. Now covering my first one as a full-time media member is a dream come true.
Happy NFL Draft Day. Let’s do this.
Javon Kinlaw on battling homelessness:
“We had to use boiled water to take showers growing up and the water spigot just to drink.” On free food at JUCO, “I didn’t eat the first two days, until I found out it was free. Then I couldn’t stop after that.”
He was terrific.
Yes, I know that there won’t be actual player names on the new NCAA Football game, but soon after the release, some user will have the accurate rosters with every name, number, and position ready to download.

EDGE K’Laivon Chaisson: “I’m the most valuable player in this draft. When you hire someone, do you want someone that speaks one language or three languages? I can can speak three – rush the passer, drop in coverage, and I can play the run.”

WR Jameson Williams is averaging 21.3 yards per catch this season.
#Cincinnati
CB Sauce Gardner hasn’t given up more than 13 yards total in a single game this year. He’s also yet to allow a TD during his three year career.
Two future 1st-rounders battling tomorrow.
Phenomenal hire. Kwesi has a ton of respect from evaluators throughout the league. An outside the box process that could change the line of thinking with GM hires moving forward. Excited to see what he does in Minnesota.
I’m surprised we don’t hear Pep Hamilton’s name mentioned more for OC or HC interviews. Whether it’s Andrew Luck, Justin Herbert or Davis Mills, everywhere he’s been, the QBs have made strides in their development under his tutelage.

QB Malik Willis was impressive today. He was able to clean up his accuracy from Day 1. Looked much more confident today and even showed his mobility. The ball explodes off of his hand and he had lots of nice tosses on Day 2. He has the strongest arm of any QB in Mobile.
The Khalil Mack trade single handedly swung the hierarchy in the NFC North. That’s how elite of a player he is. Still can’t believe the Raiders traded him.
