In retrospect, Solo was the first real “oh god, they don’t have a plan” moment for Disney’s overlordship over Star Wars. But what’s odd is that it’s a really good film! Alden Ehrenreich is great! Emilia Clarke is great! Donald Glover is EXTREMELY great!

Ron Howard reveals the clashes between Lucasfilm and Phil Lord and Chris Miller that led him to taking over "Star Wars" as the director of "Solo."

CBP already drafted an extremely good reform roadmap for the ATI. @peterkyle could do a hell of a lot worse than assigning someone and ordering them to spin it up, ASAP. Why not?.

Extremely important story. Home Office, MoJ and NCA should be reading extremely closely. @ukhomeoffice @MoJGovUK @NCA_UK.
This is a story about spies. Though they are highly trained, they don’t work for an intelligence agency. They work for paying clients. One target was James Coussey. He'd been a criminal prosecutor. Why were they after him? My new Guardian investigation (1/8)

There has been a shift from clear statute to vague, hazy “directive”-type legislation over the last twenty years that is now really starting to bite. Don’t be “harmful”, or “unsafe”, or we’ll fine you! But also don’t cross some (invisible) line, or we’ll fine you for that too.
Anonymous UK government officials are threatening companies with fines if they *don't* "uphold freedom of expression" as they implement the UK's insane new censorship laws. lol. I'll be sure to include this in the complaint
