Good for Andy Lord. It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. TfL didn't have any evidence that @lfg_uk had graffitied the Tube when he said they did. Public officials shouldn't accuse people of crimes if they don't have any evidence. https://t.co/sWKNV5UZnX

HAProxy is confirmed as the unshakeable standard for enterprise load balancing in the G2 Winter 2026 Reports! CEO of HAProxy Technologies, Dujko Radovnikovic, notes that these rankings reflect a clear industry shift: organizations are moving away from complex, opaque security

DEFRA has a lot of historical data from bathing water sampling but it's all buried in spreadsheets, and different schemes over time means it's difficult to compare. So I fixed it. Meet Tidalwaiv. You can see data on any English site back to 1991. https://t.co/E5vNzheE6M
Tidalwaiv is now live. You can see and export data and graphs for any current English bathing water going back 30 years. The UK Gov does not offer this in a simple or levelized format that makes it easy to compare over time.

Actual radical change. This is potentially huge - and they should be given huge kudos for stepping out to try it. The task is ensuring they see it through.
NEW: Housing Minister Matthew Pennycook has just announced the BIGGEST EVER reforms to national policy to deliver more homes! Here are the five biggest: 🧵

🎄 IT'S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE! 💫 TfL's Andy Lord has APOLOGISED for lying! Yes it's mealy-mouthed and passes the buck... but we'll take it! Next task: actually clean the tube.

Not a huge surprise unfortunately. I’ve seen over the last 12 months lots of stories of well qualified people finding it impossible to get jobs. This is why growth matters… @lfg_uk

These should be legal to build in *any* urban area.

This is the kind of guild-captured thing that you would expect countries like France to enshrine as a matter of course, and that you would hope the noble independent spirit of a John Bull to reject. Nasty rent seeking.
The Government is considering requiring that everyone hire an architect in order to submit a planning application or a building control application. This would be a mistake. If the state wants buildings to meet certain standards, it should simply require that they do so. We

I've been working at ElevenLabs for a while now, and was lucky enough to get to work on this Engineers Fund project. I used to live off support for open source projects I contributed to, very pleased to be paying it forward now!
Today, we launch the ElevenLabs OSS Engineers Fund - a program that provides sustained support to the open-source projects that help power our work. Over the next six months, we are contributing $22,000 to projects our engineers rely on.

Someone should find a high office in the land that could do something about this.
🚨 NEW: Keir Starmer says he is "frustrated" with the number of regulations he faces "Every time I go to pull a lever, there are a whole bunch of regulations, consultations, arms-length bodies that mean the action from pulling the lever to delivery is longer than I think it

All this hand wringing over video games as art is mad imo. They are. This is a pretty obviously settled debate. There's a huge spectrum in games but quite clearly a bunch are extremely artistic.
Video games will never be taken seriously as an art form because neither the industry nor the audience treats them as art, and the audience is the larger part of the problem. Games are treated as products to be made fast, sold loud, consumed, discarded, and replaced. That is why

James Phillips (@AnEmergentI) is a Dominic Cummings misfit and weirdo emeritus; Laura Ryan (@Lyan82) is a metascience queen. Both are scientific establishment apostates. Their new proposal will, they hope, swap proceduralism and bureaucracy for a reigniting of British

The Treasury's Top Blocker Catherine Howard tried to block nuclear reforms. Fortunately, your voices were heard louder than hers. So she was overruled. And now, she's gone. In future, the Government needs to recruit people who actually want Britain to build and grow again.
We've heard strong rumours that the Treasury's Top Blocker Catherine Howard is pushing hard against nuclear reforms. This isn't surprising. She was lawyer for EDF at the time of the fish disco. We warned about this months ago. Govt needs to IGNORE the blockers and ACCEPT ALL!

Good news - Catherine Howard is out of govt. This article confirms what I said when she was appointed, which a number of people told me I was wrong about at the time: that Howard would find obstacles to planning reform, not help it. https://t.co/UElpKmNWLg
