Hey SwiftUI devs! Here is a šŸ†• Flow Layout implementation that leverages the latest SwiftUI Layout protocol. It comes with a number of configurable properties: Directionā†”ļø, V/H spacing šŸ“, and V/H alignment 🧷. https://t.co/Vz6RD4KDT5 #SwiftUI #flowlayout #layout #iOS #swift

Apple fanboyism is a mental illness. This is brand worship, not objective critique. If your opinion is ā€œApple did it so everyone must complyā€ youre not evaluating products youre enforcing some tribal purity test. Real users care about usefulness, not aesthetic obedience.

Instagram (owned by Meta) has no immediate plans to launch a new design on iOS with Liquid Glass, per Instagram head Adam Mosseri. This is why big apps suck. We shouldn’t have to wait months (sometimes years) to get new iOS features. The summer beta cycle exists for a reason.

This is HUGE!! It took a company able and willing to spend hundreds of millions of $$ to stand up to Apple and run an expensive lawsuit to prove that Apple is in the wrong mandating Apple in-app payments only Every and all app devs can thank Epic. Apple FINALLY has to compete!!

The 9th Circuit Court has confirmed: The Apple Tax is dead in the USA. Apple can require side-by-side placement of Apple payments and developer payments, as Fortnite does. And Apple can collect fees for actual costs of facilitating links and IP associated with links.

I feel like I'm destined to repeat this message until I die, but: rather than using replacingOccurrences(of:with:) you should almost certainly use replacing(_:with:) instead. (But only if you want to avoid the most random bugs you can imagine.) Details:

LMAO šŸ˜‚ Watching first-time app devs hit the App Store wall never gets old. It’s a gilded cage, not a platform. There is no outside, no next best distribution channel. Welcome to technofeudalism.

What's the next best distribution channel for an iOS app - Gumroad? And how do I set up in app consumable payments there? giving up on the Apple review process with this app after the third rejection

$threehundreddollars for a fucking strap! #visionpro ships without USB-C. Now Apple sells the missing port as a $299 'Developer Strap' dev-only, strap-swap required. Port-as-a-service. Peak dongle late-stage capitalism. https://t.co/lKkOR8blIB

Data leaks demand accountability. The App Store could require timely breach disclosure, real remediation roadmap, and maybe even an audit to rebuild users' trust. That said, it’s troubling that one gatekeeper can unilaterally nuke a business' flagship product overnight. Scary!

If you're making more typos in iOS lately, you're not going crazy - it's a bug in iOS that causes the keyboard to randomly insert the wrong letter instead of what you typed.

Monopolies are the backbone of fascism. When Apple can decide what you see on your phone, it’s easy for a lawless gov’t to collude with them to silence speech and target the organizers that dare to fight back. https://t.co/NlOfJ3jsxn
