I view Infinite Red as sort of like running a pro sports team. Elite developers (like athletes) who are some of the best in the world at a very specialized thing, lots of training, push each other to get better.

Things got weird for a while, and everyone pretended it was normal. It wasn't, and eventually they went to mstdon, and now I interact with mostly reasonable people 99% of the time these days and it's great.
Remember when people got mad at js developers for being into weightlifting and then all the famous devs on twitter enabled them by treating their concerns as valid?.
